Board work increasingly requires specialist expertise, commitment and time

In my column at MarketConnect I regularly write about value creating board work and sharing my experience.

This time I would like to pay your attention on, that board work has become much more complex in recent years, and board members spend more time on their mandates than ever before.

According to some studies, board members increased their time commitment by 20 percent from 2019 to 2020—in the wake of the pandemic—and expected that trend to continue.
