“Just after summer holidays, I have joined the network group Bestyrelseskvinder (Female Board Members) and I am happy and proud to have become one of the 27 new members. Bestyrelseskvinder is a network group for women with an interest in and qualifications for board work (in small and medium-sized companies) and we are today about 100 female board members in Denmark with nearly 300 board positions.
Furthermore, we have had the pleasure to get an insight in the board work at Århus water organization – the challenges as well as advantages of board work with a board of directors, that is composed by external members, representatives of the city council, employees and consumers. We got also some very valuable inspiration how to incorporate the 17 FN’s world goals in our board work.
